Ah, a New Flyer Xcelsior XDE60.
That's interesting for a Regional Transportation District TheRide bus, according to Wikipedia , most of the fleet consists of Gillig and Orion buses.
Perhaps they're in the process of making a general switch to New Flyer buses?

Ive talked to drivers about that. They keep a few new ones in the fleet, I presume to keep up with emissions regulations. But most of them are the old Gilligs, because they break down less and are easier to fix

I was on a plane once that had the new plane smell. The flight attendant informed us that the airline took delivery from Boeing (I was flying out of Seattle) a few days ago and we were about to take the very first passenger flight.
